Learning environments are taking cues from the real world in how people interact and connect at a more global scale. In this, CSUMB determined that having a new facility that housed two disparate programs (College of Business and the School of Computing and Design) would help to create an energy that better reflected student collaboration, embracing new opportunities in learning.
The design promotes this cross learning and creates an open stage for collaboration both in and outside of the classrooms. The solution set a standard for learning anywhere and with anyone, intending to inspire students to work together and challenge their ways of learning and innovation.
